Vintage Sims Switch Blade Snowboard

You are bidding on a Vintage Sims switch blade snowboard in good condition. This is a wonderful piece of snowboarding history. The switch blade 1630 FLAT tail design is highly collected and still enjoyed today. It has the original bindings and the color graphics are fantastic looking. It even has an old grateful Dead steel-your-face sticker on the tip. It is in pretty decent shape giving it's age but it does have some condition issues. It does have the original bindings however the ptex plastic on the heel supports have cracked over time.(the purple parts)The original plastic is still present so replacements could be easily fabricated. It measures approx. 159 CM long. It has lots of scuffs and scrapes but the layers are still laminated solid and the edges still have lots of life left in them. The rear tail has some minor chips to the top edges and there is some light corrosion on the side edges. The tip also has some scuffs and minor ding marks. There is one repair about 2 inches on edge and P-tex looks clear. There is some light sun fade to the colors but it still looks very good. It even includes a translucent telephone cord style lease with Bokoda strap. There are 14 binding bolts included and the bindings will be removed for shipping seperately. It would be nice for restoration and use again or it would look great as a decoration in your shop or lodge.
