Vintage Burton 1987 Woody 145 Wood Snowboard

RARE vintage 1987 wooden snowboard from Burton. This is one of the last wood snowboards manufactured by Burton. It has a P-Tex base with wood sidewalls and a painted wood topsheet. It looks like this snowboard was vintage modified to add a metal edge for better control (see photos). I suspect this is why there are 3 micro drilled hole along the edge (2 on left and 1 on right - see photos).  There is some gap between the metal edge and the underneath base material (see photos). Bindings have broken off with only the base of the 2 bindings left over.  I decided to leave them on as I suspect this board is most likely to be used for collectable display and I personally think it looks cooler with them on (you can easily remove if you prefer).  I also left the Burton sticker on for the buyer to decide if they prefer to remove it. General light scuffing and a ding here and there. Otherwise, excellent vintage condition.  Will look amazing hung on the wall in a ski lodge, ski hill lounge/bar/restaurant or in your home!  Own a piece of Snowboard History!!!
