In its first three years, Vegetate attracted more than 700 competitors and 20,000 spectators to the mountain, and raised over $15,000 for the revegetation effort. The event targets the youthful snowboarder market, people who are very concerned about the environment, and vigorously support environmental causes. Meadows also maintains a snowboard park and half pipe, groomed with state of the art shaping machines to provide the highest quality park features and half pipes possible.
