The waist was measured as shown in the last photo with the edges of the waist band pulled tight and I double that for the waist measurement. i.e., if it measures 21" the waist is 42". The inseam was measured from the crotch seam to the bottom of the pant leg. The first inseam number, for example in the 86/160/90 - 34 x 28-30 , the 28" is the actual measurement but the 30" is the effective inseam when worn with the suspenders.
