All games are NTSC-U/C region coded and all will be the disc only, shipped in a plain slim jewel case. All discs have been cleaned and/or resurfaced, and all have been tested to the best of my ability (see more below). To my knowledge, all discs should be working fine, but I will issue refunds if any disc you receive from me does not work on your system.
Some discs may have minor cosmetic issues, which could include: minor scuffing remaining after resurfacing, markings or writing on the label, or stickers placed on the label side. However, none of these have impacted playability during my testing. More Information About My Restoration and Testing Process:
I know what it's like to be a collector buying on eBay, so let me give you more detail about what I do with these discs and what you should expect. Surprises on eBay are rarely a good thing.
First, I check any incoming discs in my inventory for cracks or scratches that have clearly hit the data layer. Those get set aside in a pile that I'm not sure what to do with yet. (Let me know if you have any ideas!)
Next, I organize my discs into two categories: sanding and polishing, or polishing only. In many cases, light scratches are just cosmetic and won't stop a game from loading. So if a game looks like it just needs a good cleaning / polishing, I won't do anything more than that. The vast majority of games in this listing fall under this category, so you may receive discs with some residual scratches or cosmetic damage.
For discs with more major damage, I will sand multiple times starting at a grit as low as 240 all the way up to 4000, whatever is necessary. Usually it'll be just a quick pass at 1000-1200 grit and that's normally all that's needed. (However, as noted above, the vast majority of games in this listing have either not been sanded at all, or have only had one pass.)
Finally, I start testing. Every disc goes into my PC for a full image scan. If the discs hit 100% on my PC, I'll load them up on a PlayStation 2 and check if I can get to a playable state (not just the title screen). I don't necessarily play very much of them - usually just enough to confirm that the controls are responsive and nothing seems glitchy. Any disc that doesn't hit 100% on PC or fully load gets set aside, either for another try or my damaged pile.
I'm confident that this process will weed out bad discs, but I know that there is always variation between systems and the equipment within them. Lasers fail or weaken over time, and even on a perfectly good system, sometimes discs are just weird and make up their own mind about if they want to work or not. So if anything you buy from me doesn't work, please message me and I'll get you a refund for the disc.
