No background in any of these decals. They are professionally die cut, so the surface you applied it to is the background. Hint: if your windows are tinted, Black might not be the best option. Apply with our professional CLEAR (easy to see through) transfer tape for easy installation. These are not printed stickers; they are single color vinyl decals! If you would like the image reversed (mirrored) or a stencil please add a note to the seller. Decals can be placed on windows, body of car, truck, motorcycle, boat, recreation vehicles, laptop's, video game hardware, glass, tile, flat metal, painted walls or painted wood and any other smooth nonporous surfaces. This vinyl is well suited for indoor and outdoor applications. The solvent based permanent adhesive makes it a smart choice for wet area applications such as car, boats, business windows or other outdoor places. Directions The rolling up of decals for shipping can sometimes cause separation of the transfer tape from the decal in spots, making small air pockets... which are normal and easily fixed. Always lay out your decals flat and go over them with a squeegee or credit card after you remove them from the shipping tube or envelope and before you start the application process. This is to re-affix the transfer tape to the decal after shipping, should any separation occur. This will make sure your decal's transfer tape is nice and evenly stuck before you begin the application process. The tape only needs to carry the image. Prepare the surface. Freshly painted surfaces should be allowed to completely cure. Do not apply in the cold (<47°F) or to a hot surface (>90°F). Wash with soap and water, alcohol or glass cleaner. Let area dry completely. Peel paper backing from the decal. Place the decal in the desired location (not like a sticker watch a few videos or ask if you have questions). Larger decals may require help for installation. Rub and press over the top of decal with the edge of a flexible semi-rigid object such as a credit card or squeegee. SLOWLY peel back the transfer tape from the decal and you’re done! Note:  Verify that the decal is staying attached to surface when removing the application paper. If it does not rub over top again then let rest 5 minutes. Sometimes the friction heats the adhesive slightly. Dealing with Bubbles You may possibly end up with some bubbles in your decal job. Small bubbles will go away in time (the film breathes, and will flatten out after a few weeks at an appropriate temperature). If you want to work on the bubbles immediately apply moderate heat, then poke them with a pin, pressing the vinyl down with your thumb immediately afterwards.
