EZ-Rock – A very subtle reverse camber profile with a convex base between the bindings and camber starting before the binding zone provides unparalleled stability. This makes presses easy and improves agility no matter where you place your bindings.
Shape
Directional – More nose than tail, setback insert pattern, and flex for more pop off the tail and better float in powder.
Ez-Dual-Transitional – Designed for EZ-Rock and EZ-Flat Rock, the EZ-DT is mellow between the bindings and at the tips with a more aggressive grip in the binding areas. This creates a more forgiving ride when things get a bit bumpy and a tight radius blended for carves.
Core
Tru-Flex – This core has a high strength-to-weight wood construction utilizing different density poplar woods, uniquely profiled to give you excellent all-around response when riding the mountain.
Laminates
Bi-Axial with Carbon – New for this year, Flow is adding carbon stringers in the boards that feature Bi-Axial glass. The special configuration of bi-axial glass/carbon design creates a smooth yet responsive feel. The specific carbon placement will increase the boards energy while still maintaining that natural easy riding feel found in Bi-Axial glass.
Base
Optix 2000 – The Optix 2000 is a low maintenance base; it’s smoother and less porous creating a durable, fast ride.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

The Merc will get you going whether the sun is shining or not. The board is so fun to ride that nothing will stop you from taking it out for a little daily sesh.The challenge designers achieved with that board is, they managed to incorporate quite many technologies and skills into it while keeping the price as low as possible. That means that for a small budget you can get a directional twin featuring an EZ-Rocker, a convex base, the Rock Bands tech and a Truflex core. Sounds quite technical right? In simpler words, it means the board is super forgiving and manageable whatever the terrain looks like. It has the natural flex of the wood with added flexibility when the ground gets bumpy. It’s a true helping hand for all versatile riders who want the best quality for the cheapest price.
What our testers say : Super easy, the board enters turns naturally and doesn’t require much technique to exit them. It’s also quite flexible which makes things look easier than they actually are. It does float well enough on powder and felt supportive when we decided to push a little harder on it. The Merc allows beginners and intermediates for buying a first decent board that will guide them smoothly to the next level.
