Alpina Outlander Cross Country Ski Boots
The Alpina Outlander boot is a great backcountry boot that offers a balance of performance and comfort for adventurous skiers that enjoy spending their time off the groomed terrain. This boot is designed for adventure, hence the name. The TPU cuff and heel counter provide excellent stability and improved stance position overall, while the exterior of the boot is designed to keep you dry and warm while slogging through fresh snow. Tons of ankle support and an anatomic footbed ensure that your foot stays nice and still inside the boot while skiing. After all, happy feet translate to a happy skier. The medium flex of this boot works for a lot of different skiers as it is provides the perfect mix of mobility and support for ease of use and control over your skis. If you end up on some small descents you'll get some nice support out of the cuff, but less aggressive skiers will be able to flex the boot and get the desired range of motion without having to put in too much effort. Use it off-track or on the groomed trails and this boot will perform great in either scenario, just as long as it's used with a NNN BC binding interface. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL) The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size ( eg. a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis. If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees. Binding Check: Buyer is responsible for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check. We do NOT set DIN levels.
