With an upper-end feel and performance, the Rossignol Cobra grabs on tight to your boot and allows you to really expend all of your energy into the snow. Starting with the high back wrap that is both asymmetric as well as wrapped, the Cobra not only contacts more of your boot, but it also helps direct your foot and ankle to the proper direction. While some of the lower-end bindings do not do this, the Cobra is ideal for riders who need a bit more precision and direction in their bindings. Built like more of an extension of your boot rather than a separate piece of equipment, the binding on the snowboard has a lot to do with the performance. The boot pad is another area that feature some built-in performance with the canted angle that helps with keeping the boots angled in to create more leverage over the inside edges of the boot. For shock absorption, the foot beds feature full-length cushioning as well as that canted angle for a smooth ride and a damp feeling when railing turns. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL) The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size ( eg. a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis. If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees. Binding Check: Buyer is responsible for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
